Tastings and visits to the historic cellar of Argiano
Argiano is one of the oldest wineries in Montalcino. The villa, surrounded by vineyards andolive groves, overlooks the Tuscan hills and surprises our visitors with a breathtaking view.We organize tours from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm; the tours are private and aremade by reservation only. The languages available in addition to Italian, are English, Frenchand Spanish. Below, a complete list of the activities we organize.
The tour includes an introduction to the winery, a walk in the vineyard and in the historiccellar; wine tasting with Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino, Solengo, Brunello diMontalcino Vigna del Suolo, Riserva 12 e Riserva 15, olive oils of our own production andgrappa of Brunello.Duration: about 1 hour 30 minutes – 70€ per person

Assolo -Vertical tasting of Brunello or Solengo
The tour includes an introduction to the winery, a walk in the vineyard, a historic winery and atasting of 4 vintages with different characteristics of Brunello or Solengo (depending on thecustomers’ interests).Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes – 90€ euro per person
Tasting & Pic nic
The tour includes an introduction to the winery, a walk in the vineyard, underground cellar andtasting with Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino, NC and Solengo (current vintages),olive oils of our own production and grappa of Brunello. At the wine tasting, it follows thedelivery of the picnic basket full of local delights that customers will taste in an area of the estatemade available.Duration: 2 hours – 80€ per person (activities to be booked at least 1 week in advance).
A walk in the vineyard with our agronomist/ enologist who will explain the diversities amongthe different areas of the property and that will demonstrate the richness of our terroirthrough tastings of wine produced specifically from individual areas. A visit of the cellar,accompanied by a detailed explanation of our processes. A tasting based on a specific themethat includes some old and rare vintages of Argiano. A gourmet lunch included for two peopleprepared on the spot by Michelin-starred chef Roberto Rossi (for groups of more than 2people, it is to be considered the addition of 200€ per person).

In search of Tuscan gold: the truffle
This experience will allow you to discover how truffles are searched and collected. You will thus be able to enjoy an uncontaminated environment and understand the particular relationship that is established between the truffle hunter and his dog. This research can be done, depending on the time of the year, both in natural harvesting environments and in private truffle grounds. The truffle hunter will show the methods of research, techniques and secrets with the possibility of trying to lead the dog personally. At the end you will enjoy a lunch based on fresh truffles.
